Things You'll Need:
1.Fine wheat flour-2 cups
2.salt-1 teaspoon
3.Water-Required to knead the dough
4.Oil-for deep frying.
Method:
1.Add 3 cups of wheat flour, 1 teaspoon of salt in a bowl and knead it to dough by mixing water. The consistency should be little hard so that it won't absorb much oil while deep frying.
2.Close this dough and keep it aside for 5-10 mins.Heat the oil in a pan for deep frying. 3.Just make round balls of 3/4th size of a lemon, and with rolling pin try making flat circles of the size of a burger bun.Make it a little thick so that it puffs well on frying.
Yum hot wheat poori is ready to eat.It is very good with brown cane sugar/chili beans/chicken curry or any other stuffing. But it goes best with POTATO curry[called as Potato masala] and you are right it is my next recipe.Enjoy making poori. To make it more fun after rolling it try using cookie cutter and make it in more fun shapes for your kids.
I recently made snow man and christmas tree shapes for my kid and she loved it.
