Quick & Dirty Pizza

Tonight for dinner I fixed a pizza. It was all almost homemade, I cheated a little. I bought an already made and cooked, partially cooked, crust and the sauce at the store. Everything else was fresh, except of course the cheese, I didn't make that. Here's the thing, when there's something wrong with my back, as there is today, I take shortcuts, so that's what happened. When I take shortcuts I usually have my backup stash of goodies in the cupboard so I don't have to run out to get things. The only things I had tonight were the crust, the sauce, and the cheese, everything else was missing, whoops, I did have onion. The good thing is my friend Jerry was here and more than willing to run to the store across the street and pick up a few things to make the pizza something worth eating.
Here's what we put on the pizza:
first, fresh garlic, crushed
oregano, dried
red pepper flakes
Parmesan Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
pasta sauce, premade, but water added and cooked down
onion, sliced
green bell pepper, sliced
ham, sliced
pineapple, sliced (yes, I used pineapple because 1. I like it, and 2. it goes well with ham)
fresh tomatoes, sliced
OK, I spread the sauce on the premade crust, added the garlic and oregano, red pepper flakes and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese (Jerry doesn't like this cheese, he calls it stinky, so I didn't add as much as I normally would), then I placed the tomatoes, the onions, the pineapple, the ham and last the green pepper. After all the goodies were added I spread the mozzarella cheese and put it all in a 375 oven for 35 minutes, it could have gone another 10 minutes but was good anyway. I would have done a few things differently if I'd been feeling better.
Suggestions, layer the garlic and the oregano and the pepper flakes between the veggies. Add both cheeses in layers and then bake. It will make a great pizza that way, the way I did it tonight was a good pizza but not great, oh, and bake it a little longer and maybe at a higher heat.
Have a good time, this is an easy and fun meal, served with cold beer even a bad one would taste good, with a good red wine would be tasty too.
